The reading of this accounting of Judy's struggle has left me with a greater appreciation of what true love means. My friend, Earle, has delivered a most amazing accounting of his and Judy's struggle.
Heartwarming is not a word I would use to describe this book… Life Affirming is more accurate! The Love that a husband has for his wife in a time that is needed most is what really struck me as I read Judy’s Journey.
The courage and Strength that they both seem to have for each other and the Family is amazing. It really does show you that Love is never ending and can only make the hard times worth living.
The journey is a hard one for all involved but thru reading the correspondence that Earl sends out it is so heartfelt and shows how the human spirit when Loved and when it Loves can make one of the most difficult journeys into an amazing road.
Words cannot really express the wonderful way that Judy’s Journey is so inspirational and life affirming I hope everyone will take time to read this book.
As one of the original recipients of these updates, I can attest to how valuable they were to me being thousands of miles away from her during treatment. The updates were short and concise but always so informative. They gave us a link into her struggle which she battled courageously. I enjoyed reading the updates again. Earle also did a great job of giving us the surrounding intimate details. Judy was a courageous woman who battle cancer with dignity and still managed to bless everyone around her. This is a must read book for anyone in the cancer field , undergoing cancer treatments , or walking the cancer road with a friend or family member.
Earle could not have said it any better. The book made me cry. I remember all those highs and lows. I remember the great times together. I will be a better person because of Judy and this book reminds me of that. Thank you Earle. You are amazing.
This book made me laugh, then cry. I still cannot imagine what they went thru on this journey, but through Earle's words, I could feel the love they had for one another. Judy was so lucky to have him by her side.
